evyAI Styles turns evyAI from a great AI writing tool into a fully customizable content engine for your brand.
Because here’s the reality: most AI-generated content feels generic.
It doesn’t quite sound like you, it doesn’t match your tone, and it often requires more editing than expected.
evyAI Styles changes that completely.
By letting you pre-define how you want your content to be written, you’re no longer reacting to AI output, you’re guiding it.
The result?
- Content that sounds like you
- Consistent messaging across everything you create
- Less editing and faster publishing
You’re building a system that works for you.
What Is evyAI Styles?
evyAI Styles is a feature that lets you pre-define how your content should be written before you even type a prompt.
You can create multiple styles for different content types: one for posts, one for articles, one for comments, and so on.
Think of it as:
- A reusable creative brief
- A blueprint for your voice
- A way to standardize your content
Once a Style is created, you can apply it to any piece of content and get:
- Consistent tone
- Predictable structure
- On-brand messaging
How evyAI Styles Help You Refine Your Content
Most people use AI like this:
Prompt → Generate → Edit → Rewrite → Fix tone → Adjust structure
With evyAI Styles, the process becomes:
Define once → Apply → Generate → Publish
The difference?
- Less editing
- More consistency
- Faster output
- Stronger personal brand
Instead of reacting to AI output, you’re actively guiding it.
How to Use evyAI Styles (Step-by-Step)
To access the Style feature:
Log in to evyAI → Click “Styles” on the left sidebar → Click “New Style”
Here’s how to start using evyAI Styles effectively:
Step 1: Create a New Style
Start by creating a Style based on your most common content type.
For example:
- Thought leadership posts
- Comments and replies
- Long-form articles
- Outreach messages
Pro Tip: Name your Style clearly so you can reuse it quickly.
Examples:
- “Post – Thought Leadership”
- “Comment – Short & Insightful”
- “Article – Deep Dive”
Step 2: Define Your Use Case
This tells the AI when to use this Style.
Think of it as a brief note to yourself (and to the AI) about the context this style is designed for.
Examples:
- “Use this for educational posts”
- “Use this for engagement comments”
- “Use this for long-form blog content”
This small step adds clarity and improves output quality.
Step 3: Choose the Level of Detail
You can control how deep the AI goes by choosing one of three options:
- Summary → Short, punchy, quick insights
- Moderate → Balanced (great for posts)
- In-Depth → Detailed (ideal for blogs)
Pro tip: Match this setting to your character count. Selecting “In-Depth” while only allowing 300 characters will create a conflict in the output.
Step 4: Set the Character Count
This defines how long your content should be.
Recommended ranges:
- Articles: 4,000–5,000 characters
When this is set correctly, your content comes out closer to “ready to publish.”
Why this step is important: Short comments that are too long look spammy. Articles that are too short don’t rank. Setting this intentionally saves you editing time later.
Step 5: Decide on Emojis
You can toggle emojis on or off.
ON → More casual, engaging
OFF → Clean, professional
Best practice: Create one style with emojis for casual/social content and one without for professional or B2B writing.
Step 6: Choose Your Writing Format
This controls how your content looks visually. You can select more than one option.
Options include:
- Add Headings: Breaks content into sections with bold headers. Excellent for articles and long posts that need to be scannable.
- Bullet Points: Organizes information into digestible lists. Great for tips, steps, or feature breakdowns.
- Text Highlight: Emphasizes key phrases or sentences to draw the reader’s eye.
- Pull Quotes: Pulls a compelling line out of the content and features it prominently, like a quote callout in a magazine.
- Pro Tip: Adds a “Pro Tip:” section within the content, it’s a great way to add a memorable takeaway.
- Insert Clickable Links: Allows the AI to include hyperlinks in the generated content where relevant.
Why it matters:
Structure = readability. And readability = engagement.
Best practice: For posts, use bullet points + pro tip. For articles, use headings + pull quotes + pro tip. For comments, remove all formatting, keep it conversational.
Step 7: Add Writing Tools
Writing Tools control the techniques and storytelling devices the AI uses to make the content more compelling. You can select more than one.
Here’s what each one does:
- Data Driven: The AI will incorporate statistics, numbers, and evidence-based reasoning to support its points. Great for credibility.
- Real Examples: The AI will ground abstract ideas in specific, relatable scenarios. Makes content more tangible and believable.
- Use Metaphor: The AI will draw comparisons to familiar concepts to explain complex ideas in a memorable way.
- Add Dialogue: The AI will use conversational language or simulate a back-and-forth to make the content feel alive and engaging.
- Tell a Story: The AI will structure content with a narrative arc: a beginning, tension, and resolution. Extremely powerful for emotional connection.
- Ask Questions: The AI will embed questions throughout (or at the end) to prompt reflection and drive engagement from readers.
Best practice:
- Posts → Story + Questions
- Educational → Data + Examples
- Personal → Story + Dialogue
Step 8: Customize With Free Text
This is where your personality comes in. Use this field to describe anything that doesn’t fit into the other settings.
You can give instructions like:
- “Always start with a bold one-liner hook”
- “Write in the style of Alex Hormozi — direct, no fluff, high energy”
- “End every post with a call to action to visit evyAI.com“
- “Avoid using the word ‘leverage.’ Keep the vocabulary simple and conversational.”
The more specific you are here, the more recognizable and consistent your content will be.
